About this project
Hwy 13 Savage to Burnsville project location map
Crews will improve safety and mobility by reconstructing Hwy 13 between Quentin Ave. in Savage and Nicollet Ave. in Burnsville.
Work will begin at the Hwy 13 and Nicollet Ave. intersection. Then crews will start on the west segment of the project, between Quentin Ave. and Washburn Ave. intersections.
The work is the result of an environmental report and a study of Hwy 13 between Shakopee and Burnsville. The study identified alternatives for the intersections and highway. The first project that resulted from the study was the reconstruction of the Dakota Ave. intersection, which improved safety and mobility, and provides access to the Ports of Savage.
