MnDOT’s performance measures are organized under eight performance topics.

MnDOT tracks measures to understand how Minnesota's transportation system is performing. Statewide Multimodal Transportation Plan (SMTP) and Minnesota's 16 statutory transportation goals guide priorities and decisions. The SMTP looks at the transportation system as a whole, identifies changes that may affect it, and sets goals for the next 20 years. By working toward these targets, MnDOT supports the Minnesota GO Vision, address transportation challenges, and improve the system for the people who rely on it every day.
