Hwy 19 Reconstruction Project

Project Complete

MnDOT reconstructed Highway 19/College Drive from 700 ft west of Marlene St through the intersection of Bruce Street in the City of Marshall.
The City of Marshall replaced sanitary sewer and water main utilities.
A single-lane roundabout was constructed at the intersection of Highway 19/College Drive, Country Club Drive, and South 2nd Street.
An EV Charging Station was installed in the Avera parking lot.
Sidewalk improvements were made along the project area to improve accessibility.
Several traffic control changes throughout the route were made to enhance safety.
A bike lane was striped from Marlene St. to just west of Fairgrounds Rd.

Tree planting is contracted through Hoffman and McNamara Co.
This project is run as a completely separate project from the road construction. If you see contractors working on your boulevard, they are preparing the areas for new trees.
