Summary of work
In the summer of 2027, MnDOT will resurface a section of Highway 57 and build a roundabout.
The roadway will be repaved from 9th Street in Mantorville to Dodge County Road 16. We will also construct a new roundabout at the intersection of Highway 57 and Dodge County Road 16. During this work, drainage facilities will also be improved.
Update
As of March 2026, MnDOT is preparing the construction plans for the roundabout and resurfacing project. These plans will include a detour, which is being finalized.
MnDOT has also completed the environmental review for this project. This review helps identify and address any impacts in the project area.
Traffic impacts
- We will likely use detours to route traffic around the construction zone. More details will become available as the project is developed.
