About this project
Summary of work
Construction is scheduled to begin July 20, 2026 on Hwy 30 near the Rochester International Airport. Work is anticipated to be completed by the end of September.
Work includes:
- Resurfacing Hwy 30 from 90th St. SW to Hwy 63
- Replacing culvert at Willow Creek
- Repairing several culverts and making other drainage improvements
Traffic impacts
- Daytime lane closure with flaggers and a pilot car directing traffic through the workzone. Both lanes will be open at night.
- A detour will occur at Willow Creek during the box culvert replacement. The detour will start after Aug. 15 and will be announced through project email updates. It's anticipated that the detour will occur for two weeks.
