About this project
MnDOT will resurface, improve access with roundabouts and update Hwy 12 (Babcock Blvd.) in Delano from west of Bridge Ave. to east of County Line Rd. SE (Wright Co. Rd. 139) in Delano. The project is in early development and construction is scheduled for 2031.

Project highlights
- Resurface or reconstruct the road surface, includes shoulders
- Construct new Hwy 12 roundabouts at:
- Bridge Ave.
- Woodland Rd. (Co. Rd. 30)
- Tiger Dr. (7th St. S)
- Reconfigure access to right-in/right-out (reduces crossover and left turn movements) at 13th St.
- Update storm drainage, curb/gutter, signage and road markings
- Upgrade pedestrian sidewalks and approaches
- Install a new flashing pedestrian signal and crosswalk at Fifth St. S
Note: MnDOT Metro District to construct the roundabout at Hwy 12 and County Line Rd. SE in 2029.
