Stronger, smoother surface

For this Hwy 10 project, we are using a road surface treatment called an unbonded concrete overlay. We are building a brand-new concrete road right on top of the old, cracked one. Crew members will place a thin fabric cushion between the two layers to act as a shield. This cushion stops old cracks from breaking through to the top, giving you a smooth, long-lasting street for years to come.

Traffic impact plans

All traffic impacts are tentative and weather dependant.

  • Drivers will encounter segments of single-lane traffic in each direction with changes to local access
  • Pedestrians will encounter sidewalk closures with signed detours
  • Access to businesses and residences will be maintained along this project; however, expect changes

This project may need two construction seasons to complete. More known closer to 2028.
