Kellogg Blvd./3rd Street bridge work will close I-94 east of downtown St. Paul overnight on Thursday, June 18
ROSEVILLE, Minn. —The city of St. Paul will close I-94 in both directions east of downtown St. Paul Thursday night, June 18 until Friday morning, June 19 to pour concrete for the bridge deck over the interstate.
Both directions of the interstate will close through the Dayton’s Bluff neighborhood starting at 10 p.m. on Thursday until 5 a.m. Friday. The posted detour for each direction will be I-694 to I-35E. Local exits to Mounds Blvd and 7th Street will be open during the closure.
In case of inclement weather, the closure will be moved to the following week.
The Kellogg Blvd./3rd Street bridge closed for reconstruction July 24, 2024. The city of St Paul is replacing the bridge to address the need for a more reliable connection to the city that will accommodate people walking, biking, taking transit, and driving. The project is expected to be completed in 2027.
