About this project
Throughout the project:
- Remove pavement, add reinforcement in subgrade and repave
- Replace existing signing
Rural segment:
- Completely reconstruct the Hwy 73/Hwy 27 intersection to remove skew including reconstructing new roadside ditching and culverts, relocating utilities, and installing new intersection lighting
Within Kettle River:
- Remove and replace all sidewalks and curb and gutter
- Curb lines will remain the same except at curb bump-outs at or near intersections
- Extend curb and gutter approximately 275-feet north of 3rd Ave N to slow traffic coming into Kettle River
- Repair approximately 20 storm sewer structures
- Line approximately 350-feet of storm sewer and clean approximately 250-feet of storm sewer
- Provide new storm sewer to accommodate ADA intersection bump-outs, curb revisions and curb extensions
- Replace existing roadway lighting system
