Overview
Limousine operators and drivers have a responsibility to follow state and federal regulations, keep their passengers safe, and to keep their vehicles both clean and mechanically sound.
MnDOT is committed to ensuring limousine operators meet safety requirements, with the goal of having all passengers reach their destination safely.
New limousine rules
- Updates to the limousine service regulations found in Minnesota Rules, chapter 8880, and published on the Minnesota Office of the Revisor website, went into effect on December 22, 2025. Learn more here.
