Hwy 47 closed south of Isle until 11:30 a.m. due to crash investigation

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (8:25 a.m.) The Minnesota Department of Transportation is assisting with a road closure on Hwy 47 south of Isle, near mile post 89, following a crash incident earlier this morning. The location is near the intersection of Hwy 47 and Hwy 27.

MnDOT was requested by the Minnesota State Patrol around 7:00 a.m. to provide support at the scene. Hwy 47 is expected to remain closed until approximately 11:30 a.m. while the State Patrol conducts its investigation.

Traffic is being detoured via Mille Lacs County Road 131. MnDOT crews are assisting with traffic control and plowing along the detour route to ensure safe travel conditions.
