Lane closures, turn lane restrictions at Hwy 59 and Hwy 34 intersections in Detroit Lakes starting Sept. 24
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — On Wednesday, Sept. 24 and Thursday, Sept. 25, weather permitting, the Minnesota Department of Transportation will be replacing signs on the overhead traffic signal structures at the intersections of Highway 59/County Road 6 and Highway 34/Roosevelt Avenue in Detroit Lakes.
During this work, motorists will encounter lane closures and turn lane restrictions at each intersection. Crews will start at the Highway 59/County Road 6 intersection and then move to Highway 34/Roosevelt Avenue.
All maintenance activities and traffic impacts are weather dependent and subject to change. MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, and reminds them to slow down in every work zone, obey traffic control and never enter an area blocked with barriers or cones.
